Photoshop Famous Friends

I can use the retouching tools, (liquify, color replacement tool, spot healing tool, dodge, burn, smudge, clone stamp, red eye tool), use the selection tools, including refining the selection, and use the adjustment tools (brightness/contrast) to combine three photos into a believable scene.

Save every 5 minutes!

Open a photo of you that you've taken with a camera, or that you have brought to school or have stored online (Photobucket, Flickr, etc).

Find a picture of a celebrity online.

Find a picture of a place (the beach, the library, church, athletic field, shopping....)

Combine the 3 pictures into one Photoshop file.

The rules - fix the photos so that you & your famous friend look like a model on the cover of a magazine. Use any retouching tool that you need. (liquify, color replacement tool, spot healing tool, dodge, burn, smudge, clone stamp, red eye tool)

New knowledge to aquire - (optional, you'll see this part in an assignment later this week)

What else? - Use any tool in Photoshop, we've used all the selection tools, crop tool, brushes, filters, shapes. Have fun! Be creative!

When finished, click File>Save for Web and Devices and save your image into your Photohop folder. Now you will have it saved in two ways, once as a .psd (Photoshop file) and once as a .jpg. The .jpg file will go on the Internet in my Photobucket slide show.

Email your photo to my Photobucket account wehrman_dga.16942@uploads.photobucket.com Check here to make sure your photo made it into my online album.

Post your photo on your 2nd Six Week's page with the I can statement and your reflection statement. Reflection statement needs to include at least three complete sentences describing what you learned by doing the project. Explain your technique and all of the tools that you used. Explain any problems encountered during the project and how/if you overcame the problem. Spelling and grammar count!
